Trace had to chance to speak with Vince from Iron Tower Studios about their upcoming game Age of Decadence. Age of Decadence is role playing game set in a post apocalyptic would that was inspired by the fall of the Roman Empire. The game is true to the roots of role playing games with a hard difficultly, multiplier solution quest system, and an emphasis of decision making. The interview transcript is below.       I'm hanging out with Frank Turner tonight.  Needless to say, there is no shortage of conversation.  We discussed love, heartbreak, you know, typical guy stuff.  We came to this conclusion:  Every person on Earth should deeply appreciate the cosmic chaos that leads to truly connecting with another human being.  It is the coal that fuels love.  I don't believe that there is such thing as a 'soul mate' but I do believe that there is a deeper level of connection that two unique human beings can have with one another.  And this connection is what we 'silly love seekers' search for every day; some find it, some settle, and some never stop looking.  Is this a pipedream?  Mr.Turner and I do not believe so.

I’m purposely going to try to be vague in this launch review of Don’t Starve because it’s very important that I do so if you choose to play it. If you subscribe in any way to the Bartle Test of Gamer Psychology, then understand that Don’t Starve is very much for the Explorer archetype. Half of the joy of this game is in discovering its secrets and eccentricities for yourself, through trial and error, life and death. If you take the time with Don’t Starve (and avoid the spoilers), you’ll be rewarded with moments of genuine surprise and sadomasochistic frustration. What’s the other half of the fun of Don’t Starve? Fate, of course. Namely, your inevitable doom.

epressdesk.com is proud to present the lucky thirteenth edition of the Alcoholics Synonymous Podcast.   We discuss beards, butts, and bad experiences dinning out for a very long, long, long time while Cameron bleeds out from his eye in the bathroom and Josh gets chocolate wasted in the kitchen all by himself. Enjoy!

Now... I believe with some bands that reach a peak point tend to do a dance with their albums. Something along the lines of "Two steps forward, one step back" and I feel like that's the case for this band. For the past 4 years I have been craving for Phoenix to come out with new material. Finally this past week, it happened. Their new album “Bankrupt!”, is now available, taking its mark as the band’s 5th studio album. I am (for the most part) pleased with their recordings.

Harriet. Yeah, Harriet.  The band released their debut EP, "Tell The Right Story" in January, causing as much ripple effect as an overweight husband throwing a condom off of the cruise ship into the ocean.  The EP caused me, and 1,274 people to even "Like" them on Facebook! Yeah, it is that good. How did I hear about Harriet you ask? Well I'll tell you!

If you needed a reason to play Bioshock Infinite, the clear main contender for game of the year at this point, get ready because it’s about to be served up to you on one of those hot, steamy sizzler platters. Here you go: Irrational Games’ latest entry to the Bioshock series lets you kill Klansmen. How many Klansmen? Lots of ‘em. Video games have supplied us with limitless amounts of Nazis, the other clearly objective evil, to slaughter, but in 2013 we’re finally able to sate our long-starved desire to creatively send Klu Klux Klanners to whatever hell awaits them (it’s being a perpetual audience member of Soul Train, by the way).

In 2012 CNN was reported to get a new president who would try and to take CNN in a different direction and since I heard that bit of news I have been holding my breathe. Who is this Jeff Zucker and what is he going to do to CNN? How is he going to make CNN journalism something that is respectable and at the same time entertaining? Well, so far this Jeff Zucker has really shit the bed by making this mix between legitimate journalism and “I Love the 80’s” talking heads and all I can say is he has made a monster that should be shot in the head, incinerated , and never talked about again by anyone.

A night of discussing summer plans of drinking, classy times, and we also dive deep into invisible social troubles of being a single parent and raising a Xenomorph or Asari baby.
